The mission of The Gymnastics Academy (TGA) is to provide the next generation with quality gymnastics in a fun and safe atmosphere. We also provide building blocks for lifelong fitness and a solid foundation of motor and kinesthetic skills that translate to all other sports. Finally, we are committed to encouraging your child by building their self confidence and self esteem in every class.

We offer a nationally accredited KAT Preschool Program for ages 2-6, recreational gymnastics for girls ages 6 -18, and a competitive level program for ages 6-18 who aspire to compete in sanctioned USA Gymnastics meets.

TGA also offers boys recreational classes.

Congratulations, Maile’! A familiar face here at TGA and level 10 gymnast, Maile’ana Kanewa, signed her letter of intent for a full athletic scholarship at the University of Oklahoma on November 15th, 2011. After thirteen years of training here at the gym, it is wonderful for TGA gymnasts, coaches, family and friends to witness that hard work really does pay off. Maile’s honors are many- here are just a few recent ones that reveal the caliber of this gymnast. The Minnesota gymnast of the year nominee finished 13th in the all-around at Junior Olympic nationals in 2010 and eighth in the all-around in 2008. In 2010, Maile’ was the vault and floor champion of the seven-state region of Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska. She qualified for the prestigious Nastia Cup competition- only elite and Level 10 gymnasts in the United States have a chance at qualifying for this meet! In May of 2011, Maile’ finished third in the all-around competition at the 2011 Junior Olympic nationals. She is a member of the 2011 Junior Olympic Team and has earned the rare invitation to attend the Karolyi Camp in Texas-two times! The OU Sooners are currently nationally ranked #2 in NCAA women’s gymnastics.
